Privacy Policy and Refund/Exchange Guarantees

We have a very simple privacy policy which boils down to this:

  • Your Information is Safe with Us!
  • No Hidden Fees!
  • If a long list of License agreements is required at any point, there will be "plain and simple english" documentation (such as this) preceding any legalese; and the terms of the "EZ EULA" will contain in spirit what the following letter of the law provides. This is our transparency model.
  • Privacy is always maintained, even when listing in resource directories, such as request-for-hire, and request-for-service sections at our membership site.

Information collected by our site, inclusive of email addresses, phone-numbers, and/or any personal infomation stated as required for, or otherwise optionally provided to one of our website's forms, or one of our website's applications and/or the Merchant section whether consisting of payments or customer service or elective participation (such as surveys, or feedback forms) will be held in strict confidence, and shall never be sold, traded, or otherwise used except for the purpose stated directly at the point of collection. Furthermore, there are provisions for an "Easy EULA" in the presence of any specific EULA (end-user license agreement) provided at the point of collection, which will be readily visible.

Our services will offer membership for which businesses and service providers will opt-in to share parts of their information to the benefit of the respective business or service providers, such as advertisements, or contact information; however, the account-specific data will not be shared in a cross-over fashion between accounts; therefore the public display of ordinarily private information is only accomplished through willing and transparent means by the original provider, with the express knowledge of the individual provider; and specific controls will be offered by which information can be willingly shared according to a "public profile"; and these systems will be provided by and maintained by StarLogic Systems to benefit and facilitate a safe and secure environment in which to advertise, share, and collaborate among separate business and private entities engaging in business activities. Our services will never include "Peer-to-Peer" services, publicly known as file-sharing.

Our business also operates using a transparency model for all its fees, transactions, and/or payments. These are outlined per contract or agreement which may or may not preclude applicable Law in the State of Washington under which StarLogic Systems LLC is incorporated. We are always interested in and support the rights and privileges of the client toward privacy and fair market practices.

Policy of Refunds and Exchanges:

Due to the various types of contracts our company provides, there are generally three types of circumstances which refunds may possibly be requested:

1. Per quoted-price when a contract, or other legal agreement is arranged with StarLogic Systems LLC, we guarantee our work to be free from defect in programming and/or work quality for an absolute term of 6 months from the date of delivery. Due to the rapidly changing nature of the internet there are occasions when services, applications, or even graphic design integrity may degrade without cause on our part; nevertheless, our company is committed to providing a superior experience for you and your respective clients and patrons; therefore, we guarantee our work (and only our work!) absolutely for a term of 6 months during which modifications required for the acceptable operations of formerly operational material created by our staff, or by our subsidiary organizations (including www.HeadAboveCode.com, and www.Bellasys.com), can be requested and will be executed by our staff. Modifications required beyond 6 months will be available at our lowest rates due to your investment in our company, and also due to the fact that we understand what we build, and it's easier for us to maintain. Therefore we intend to provide an exceptional quality of work lasting beyond the date of delivery.

Our contracts typically offer 50% down-payments, and 50% concluding payments when created. Even though we check in with our clients frequently during the process to ensure satisfaction, it is possible that circumstances may arise in which a refund of monies, or partial payments are sought. After payment has concluded 100% on a project, the funding is considered to be final, and there aren't any ordinary provisions for refunds. When downpayments occur per project, typically consisting of 50% total sum of contract as mentioned above, and if there is cause to request a refund, the portion of labor and consulting already conducted at time of the refund request will be considered when calculating the amount of refund.

It is not typical to refund monies to any company or individual due to the contractual nature of our work, and the intellectual property which is given (typically in advance) in consideration of outlining specific plans to arrange work and create accurate contractual statements. However, we desire to see our client's satisfaction, and we understand that situations may arise which aren't ordinary. We will honor all refund requests with a serious and immediate review; and if possible we will make alternative arrangements to satisfy a customers' needs even in the event it isn't possible to refund all the monies requested.

We will always consider any refund request fairly and we will respond to such requests at our earliest opportunity. This can be expected within 24 hours.

2. Retainers are by no means refundable; Retained services can, and frequently are, converted to actual services rendered even if these are held suspended until the need arises at a significantly future date. Fees are subject to ordinary increases in fair market value for services rendered, yet there aren't any expiration dates placed upon retainers. Typical retainers are between $300 and $1500. Retained fees are non-transferrable, however StarLogic Systems may arrange specific cases under which re-assignment can occur. We will always consider any refund request fairly and we will respond to such requests at our earliest opportunity. This is typically within 24 hours.

3. In the case of hourly rates and pre-arranged work scheduled with StarLogic Systems LLC on behalf of the customer or client, it is usual that this work would be concluded as rapidly as possible by our staff, or one of our subsidiary entities www.HeadAboveCode.com, and/or www.Bellasys.com; therefore, it is not typically possible or expected to offer refunds under any circumstances. However, we will always consider any refund request fairly and we will respond to such requests at our earliest opportunity. This is typically within 24 hours.
